Each member of our staff is an integral part of the equation that makes our office such a warm and caring environment. Not only are they highly trained in their positions, but they are outstanding individuals as well. We are frequently complimented by our patients, colleagues and vendors on how fortunate we are to have such a terrific team. The best indicator is the longevity of employment of many of our team members! We have found that our patients appreciate the continuity in having familiar faces greeting and serving them at every visit. We invite you to come in and experience our hospitality while receiving the best dental care you can find.
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, received my Dental Hygiene education at Diablo Valley College, and have practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1995.
In 2001, I relocated to the greater Sacramento area and was fortunate to obtain a full time position in this outstanding practice and consider myself lucky to still be here. Over the years I have seen a lot of changes in the art, science and technology of dentistry. Traditional methods are tried and true, however it is important to me to stay educated so I can utilize new research and techniques to provide smart, efficient, comfortable care to our patients as well as ensure I have longevity as a practitioner. I take pride in providing personalized quality care and value the long lasting and trusting relationships that I have developed with our patients over the years. I am a member of the ADHA, CDHA, and SVDHA.
In addition to my skills as a hygienist, I am very passionate about food, music and canine rescue. In my spare time, I like to read, attend concerts, work on DIY projects, garden, seek out great "foodie" finds and explore the California coast with my husband and two dogs.
I am a Sacramento native, born and raised. I graduated from the local high school John F. Kennedy. At the young age of 14. I became intrigued with the world of dentistry and was fortunate enough to be provided with the resources to grant me the smile I cherish each and every day. I love being able to provide the education and services to do the same for you!
I started my career as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2000, even though my true desire was to be a hygienist. Over the years I have gained the experience and knowledge of various dental office positions. I finally achieved my long term goal and graduated from hygiene school in 2010 from Carrington College and couldn’t be happier!
Transitioning into being the newest member to Dr. Chauhan’s staff has been great! I couldn’t ask for a better mentor and co-workers to spend my working day with. I cherish my daily opportunities to interact with all my patients and love helping guide you into better dental and whole body health. I believe in constantly furthering my education to keep current with latest research in dentistry and provide you with the best care possible.
As a single parent, I make every spare moment count with my son. The years have already flown by and as he approaches the age of 12 I realize he will be off to college or pursuing his life goals before I know it. He is a drum player for his school band and plays baseball. I do set aside time for myself as I strive towards meeting my fitness goals for overall health. Cooking is a passion for me and I am always looking for new ways to prepare food. If I happen to have spare time after that I like various “mellow” hobbies such as crochet, sewing, and scrapbooking.
I have always been fascinated by the dental field, and as an assistant I have come to love every aspect of it! I began my path in dentistry at Carrington College and graduated as a proud Dental Assistant in 2013, soon after I became a Licensed RDA. Jump forward a few years, you will now find me greeting you when you walk in to our office... You could say I am a jack of all trades!
I am enjoying this new point in life and look forward to growing and furthering my skills. Working with this great group of ladies and meeting all our wonderful patients has proven to be a great experience. They not only encourage me, but also mentor me, teaching me something new every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the movies, camping and working out.
I’ve been in the dental since 2003, and finally joined Dr. Nikki’s team in 2017. I love learning about our patients and help restoring their dental needs as an RDAEF II. My role here is to transfer doctors careful design by taking impressions and sending it to our trusted laboratory, then restore it to the patient’s teeth. Patient’s comfort is top of my list during and after their procedures. It is rewarding to see when our work can bring a patient’s smile!
I have an 8 year old daughter, and a 4 year old son who goes to Taekwondo. On my days off, my husband takes us on adventures, kids boot camps, or swimming.
